About Visual/Graphic Communications

Graphic and visual communications are powerful and influential media. In this program you will develop skills to communicate messages through several forms of print media, photography, video and on the web using state-of-the-art computer hardware and software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash and more) and video (linear and digital) production and editing equipment. Skills of design, layout, photo conversion, composition, production preparation, image transfer, finishing and cost estimation of offset and screen printed products are developed and used to produce a variety of products. Also, through the development of video projects, students will learn how to capture, edit and produce videos and improve presentation skills. This program allows you to specialize in one or more areas to develop in-depth technical skills.
