Students engage in a structured and comprehensive sequence of coursework that introduces key concepts in human anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, health science theory, infection control, patient assessment, vital signs measurement, therapeutic communication, and fundamental clinical procedures. Through classroom instruction, laboratory practice, and hands-on skill development, learners gain experience in patient positioning, mobility assistance, personal care skills, CPR and first aid, and the use of medical equipment commonly found in healthcare facilities.

A key component of the pathway includes preparation for industry-recognized credentials, such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, and other certifications based on program capacity and state requirements.
